You won’t have to worry about stretching your pixels and it will give you a clear and sharp image throughout the day. This along with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio will ensure that content will be delivered with impressive clarity. The built in 10W speaker is a nice touch, and in most small to medium sized rooms would cope well by itself and wouldn’t require an additional audio to be installed. For larger rooms, additional speakers would be needed.
The range of inputs is brilliant, with 1 x VGA, 2 x HDMI as well as various audio inputs and outputs you will be able to connect any modern laptop or PC. This is great if you have different people bringing their laptops to the meeting room table, as you know they’ll always be able to connect easily. One of the HDMI ports supports MHL so you can present in high definition from your mobile device. There is a USB Type A port. It also has networking control with LAN and a 12V Trigger; when you turn on the projector the screen will automatically come down too – we can help you choose a screen compatible.
The W460ST has some good ECO features which will allow you to preserve the lamp life and lower the power consumption. The Eco AV mute button will take the power down by 70% which could be useful during school lunch breaks or breaks between meetings where you don’t necessarily want to turn the projector off. Another strong point of the W460ST is its ability to display a very large image, something which not a lot of short throws can do. Due to the high brightness it will be able to cope with the larger size images. You can produce a large image from a short distance away from the screen. This is great for limited spaces, no cables laying around on the floor to watch out for and with short throws you do not have the glare beaming in your eyes when presenting.
Overall, this is a great projector for the business or classroom with fantastic connections
