The Optoma ML750E is quite clearly designed for portability, and at just 0.38kg it is an easy addition to your luggage whether for business or if you just want a small solution for home.or for using at home and packing away when not being used. The HDMI port on the ML750E also supports MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) so you can use a single cable to run from the projector to Micro USB on your smartphone or tablet and it will mirror what is on the screen. At 700 lumens, you are not going to get a massive screen as it would appear too faint and hard to see. You will be looking at 1.4m wide maximum. You can also forget the hassle of having to change lamps around with an ultra long lamp life of up to 20,000 hours. The ML750E is natively widescreen so you can be safe in the knowledge that the movie or pictures you are showing will not have to be stretched to fill the screen. It has a fixed throw ratio of 1.5:1 so if you want to make the screen bigger or smaller you have to move the whole projector. There is a shorter throw version of this one, the ML750ST which if you have a limited then might be a better choice. There are lots of cheap LED advertised and this one will seem expensive compared to what is offered, but the difference is that the brightness and the resolution are genuine, made by a top brand that everyone has heard of and the warranty is something you can trust. Don’t think great it has 20,000 so it’s better than a heavier brighter machine, you nearly have to be running 24/7 to worry about lamp life nowadays, you buy this projector because it is so lightweight.
