The EH415ST is a bright Full HD projector that can be used on the desk top or installed on the ceiling. You can check out the ex-demo version of this projector here – saving you over £175. At 3500 lumens it is bright enough to be used in large sized meeting rooms in light conditions and still achieve a clear image. The Full HD resolution is perfectly suited for showing HD videos, streaming online videos such as YouTube, and of course showing the usual graphs and spreadsheets that would be used in board meetings.
Optoma are proud of the fact that their projectors have good colour reproduction and this unit lives up to this, nice to know that the presentation you have spent time making is going to look as good through the projector. The lens of the EH415ST is short throw so you can produce a large image at a short distance from the screen. This is great if you are limited on space and it eliminates shadows on the screen. The presenter also doesn’t have any light shining into their eyes. It is considered as a portable presentation projector as well due to its relatively compact size for its brightness and resolution, at only 3.4KGs and with a soft carry bag included. A good variety of inputs including 2 HDMI inputs, VGA, USB and a 12V trigger will allow you to connect several different sources to it at one time which is less hassle if you are holding a meeting and different people need to show their own content; simply use the remote control to change which input you want to use. You can also present PC-free with a USB stick. If installed, the 12V trigger will let the screen come down when you turn the projector on.
The Optoma EH415ST also has vertical keystone correction, so it can be positioned off centre if necessary; helpful maybe in rooms with a high ceiling or where a pole mount can’t be used due to ceiling fixtures. For a bright HD projector it is surprisingly Eco-friendly. It uses less power on those images that needs less power, and it also has really low power consumption in standby mode.
