The NEC PA572W is a dedicated installation projector, and it is easy to see why because NEC have packed it full of features making it easy to install and it will be able to produce a bright, clear image even in large scale applications such as a museum display or signage in a large auditorium. The PA 572W comes without a lens as standard meaning that you can select which of the 6 bayonet lenses you want to use, and also means you do not spend the extra money on a lens you don’t need. Having seen the NEC PA range it really stands out from many other manufacturers in terms of the quality you get and at a very keen price too. Although the PA572W has a high brightness at 5700 lumens another great feature of this unit is the instant stacking feature allowing you to stack 2 units on top of each other and get around 10,000 lumens for a fraction of the price of a single projector at that brightness. The native widescreen resolution (WXGA 1280×800) means it is compatible with any device you want to connect it to, and it can take an input signal up to 4K (it won’t display in this resolution) so it is future proof there as the market is certainly heading that way. For connections you have 2 x HDMI inputs as you would expect from a high end unit such as the PA572, but it also has a HDMI output which is not very common, allowing you to send a high quality signal to a second projector and have them stacked together or maybe to replicate the same image on both sides of a stage for example. The PA572W also comes with lens shift and keystone correction both horizontally and vertically giving you ultimate flexibility on where you can place the projector.
