The NEC L102W is a projector which has been designed to suit the needs of a portable user. At only 1.36KGs and a soft carry case supplied it is easily transportable. The 1000 lumens, which is the brightness, means that you will have to switch the lights off whilst presenting and is suitable for an audience of up to 20 people maximum. It is just not powerful enough to create a large image with the lights on. The solid state LED light source provides a mercury-free design, and the intuitive remote control allows for one-touch source that changes and completes the menu control for projector settings. The L102W has a filter-free design and offers a 1GB internal memory with SD input to expand storage up to 32GB, which lets you leave the laptop at home and easily present from a flash drive. It also has HDMI connection to show your content in high definition. Office Viewer feature enables users to store common Microsoft Office file formats on the L102W, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe PDF documents. The WXGA resolution is great for modern devices as these are also widescreen and you will be able to match the image quality without any distortion. The L102W has a fixed lens, so you make the image bigger simply move the projector further back. With 20,000 lamp hours, you won’t be worrying about replacing the lamp anytime soon. Whilst this is a great mobile projector, it is not suitable for a classroom or meeting room as the L102W does not have the capability to images in bright situations which may not be good if you need to take notes during your speech.
